Accessibility

Reviewed: 21 October 2026. Scope: the public imdugud.uj.edu.pl pages and their English, Polish and Ukrainian versions. The account console and Git application require separate assessments.

Using this website

The site provides semantic headings and landmarks, a keyboard skip link, visible focus indicators, language controls with accessible names, and scalable text. Content reflows on narrow screens. Images have text alternatives; decorative styling carries no essential information. All content and navigation work without JavaScript. No audio, video, flashing content, or time-limited interactions are present on these public pages.

Use your browser’s zoom and text-size controls. Navigate links with Tab and Shift+Tab, and activate them with Enter. We do not introduce custom keyboard shortcuts.

Assessment and formal declaration

This implementation has been checked for basic keyboard access, page language, contrast and narrow-screen layout. These checks are not a complete WCAG audit or a University-approved declaration. A formal conformity status has not yet been established. In particular, a full assistive-technology review and the University’s declaration acceptance process remain to be completed.

UJ requires accessible websites and a maintained accessibility declaration. Its guidance on declarations explains the review and acceptance process. This page gives current accessibility information; it does not claim that Imdugud has already received that acceptance.

Feedback and accessible alternatives

Email imdugud@uj.edu.pl with the page address, the barrier, the alternative format you need and a way to contact you. You can request accessible information without creating an Imdugud account.

The statutory procedure normally requires a response within 7 days; if accessibility cannot be provided then, an explained alternative deadline must not exceed 2 months. If your request is refused or the response is unsatisfactory, use the University’s accessibility request and complaint procedure. You may also contact the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights.

University premises and communication

The website provides online information; no visit is needed to read it. For a university visit, consult the UJ Accessibility Centre and the faculty’s building information. Contact the relevant unit in advance to arrange communication support. These links do not assert that every university building or linked application has the same accessibility characteristics as this page.
